Five Easy Steps to building your ADU
1. Dream it.
We offer three main styles and floorplans plus a small handful of extras and add ons. Simply select your ADU floorplan along with the extras you wish to have for your backyard home. The floorplans are starting points. We can customize and shape the house to fit your desires and your lot.
2. Submit inquiry.
Once you know what style, floorplan and extras you want, submit an inquiry. This will get the ADU process started with a phone call and site meeting to go over the details.
3. Sign contract and place deposit.
We meet to discuss your goals and we research potential ADU development on your property. Once we have determined that we can deliver the ADU that you desire, we sign a building contract and work out details on how to finance the build - cash, external mortgage or Sugarhigh Development financing.
4. Design and permitting.
Our architect gets involved. Things become real. Plans will get drawn up for your ADU. Renderings made. City of Austin permits taken. Then we are ready to build.
5. Build it.
This is where it gets really fun. Take a look at our building process timeline to get a good understanding of what will be happening with your ADU build each month.
